Minera started with a single question: what happens to a stone when nobody sets it in a mold twice? Eight pieces in, the answer is the same every time — each one is the only one. We cut slowly, set by hand, and stop the moment the stone tells us it's done.
Three rules, none of them negotiable.
One cut only
We never run a stone through the same pass twice. Two stones from the same rough can leave in different shapes entirely — that isn't inconsistency, it's honesty. The cut is decided by the rock, not by a catalog page.
Traceable to the valley
Every piece ships with a certificate naming the source valley and the maker who set it. Scan the number on the clasp and the origin story opens in under a minute — no mystery supply chains, no vague 'may contain gemstones'.
Gold you hand down
Setting is recycled 18k gold, and it's made to be resized and re-set for decades. A Minera piece should outlast the occasion you bought it for — that's the point of buying one at all.

Valley to neckline in four steps.
Sourced, never mined on demand
We buy rough from small operations — Brazilian rose quartz, Royston turquoise, Katanga malachite. Each parcel is photographed at the source so the story stays with the stone.
Cut once, against the grain
No calibrating to standard sizes. The saw follows the stone's own structure, so every face, inclusion, and pattern is left as the earth made it.
Set by hand in recycled gold
Each piece is set in the studio and finished by a single maker, who signs the certificate. That signature is the quality control.
Numbered, boxed, shipped
One number per stone, engraved on the clasp and printed on the certificate. When it sells, that number retires.
